During the Empowering Migrants for Employment EME project (2018-2020), TAU researchers together with researchers from Vrije Universiteit Brussels were responsible in project’s follow-up and evaluation. Researchers took part in different phases of the project and collected data through observations, surveys, pitch evaluations and focus group discussions. Based on the research findings, TAU researchers Anna Ojapelto, Satu Heimo Katriina Tapanila and Anja Heikkinen wrote a broad Follow-up and evaluation report of the EME project (in Finnish). The report evaluates the functionality of the joint learning methods developed in the EME-project, handling process of the shared good practices and the impact of the project.

Researchers from Tampere and Brussels also co-wrote a shorter Report on the impacts of the Empowering Migrants for Employment project (in English). The report focuses on the impact of the project and explores: “What added value and impact did the EME project have for the project participants, their local contexts and their work in enhancing the employment of migrants?“.

From the EME Methods online handbook you can find more information about the EME-project, shared good practices and developed recommendations.
